- falls asleep on the couch
Neither one of them are easy sleepers, each for their own reasons, but when the time comes and rest is inescapable, Colin is the one more likely to end up on the couch. After years of living predominantly in his garage, it’s a familiar comfort and one of the easiest places for Colin to fall asleep. He also tends to use the TV as background noise.
- makes friends with the neighbors
This is a bit of a trick question. Although a lot of people would assume it’d be Colin, it’s actually Damian. Colin is, and has always been, on the outskirts of socializing. His entire childhood has been invested in dealing with the Gotham streets and super-heroes, so relating to kids his own age wasn’t always easy. As an adult, he’s still awkward with people, and while polite, tends to be more solitary.
By contrast, Damian has been raised to take command of any room he walks into. His attitude may be more astringent, but he’s charismatic and the kind of person that others are attracted to. He doesn’t go out of his way to make friends with the neighbors (when he even stays at a place that has them), but he can play the role when its called for. Although not as charming as his father’s persona (unless you’re someone he WANTS to charm), his abrasiveness and derision only seem to garner more interest.
Truthfully, though, neither one of them are people friendly, and prefer privacy.
- is the adventurous eater
Damian. (Colin’s pretty sure the left overs in the back of the fridge have grown sentience, and is waiting for the day they’re going to have to defend their lives against something that looks suspiciously nacho-like)
- hogs the covers at night
They both run hot and don’t really have an issue with the covers. This is also probably due to the fact that Damian tends to crowd Colin’s side of the bed and has a hands-on approach to all things boyfriend.
- leaves dirty laundry on the floor
Colin, despite the best efforts of the nuns. He’s used to living free-range inside a garage-turned-loft, and thus can be a bit messy.
- stays up til 2 AM reading a book
Damian, but sometimes Colin lays with him and dozes while he reads.
Between their work as vigilantes and the day-to-day bustle, there isn’t a lot of time for quiet intimacy, but they still manage to find their moments.
- sings in the shower
Colin - he doesn’t do it often, but occasionally when he’s showering or working on a car or his bike, he’ll sing along to whatever he’s listening to. He’s never very loud, his voice is a raspy croon rather than anything belting, but Damian still catches it from time to time.
Damian will never tell Colin this, though, because he knows the singing will stop and it’s one of his favorite secrets.
